MUSIC VIDEOS

A music video is not an illustration of a track – it is its second version, this time for the eyes. I listen to the song until I know where the frame should hit. Then: concept, cinematography, lighting and an edit cut to the beat.

HOW A VIDEO IS MADE

CONCEPT BUILT ON THE TRACK

We start with the music, not a moodboard. The structure of the song defines the structure of the video: where to build tension, where to ease off, where the drop lands. You get the idea before the quote.

CINEMATOGRAPHY & LIGHTING

From raw locations to fully lit stage setups – with a gafferchief lighting technician and rented Arri and Astera fixtures on board. My own camera gear and a small crew: the energy on set stays with the artist instead of dissolving into logistics.

EDIT TO THE BEAT & COLOR

I cut to the phrase, not the stopwatch – a decade of dance videography taught me to hear the edit. Color grading closes the mood: the video should look the way your track sounds.

RELEASE & FORMATS

A YouTube master plus verticals for Reels, TikTok and Shorts – teasers, snippets, cutdowns. A premiere is a campaign, not a single upload.

WHY ME

I feel music through dance – 8 years as a professional dancer and a decade of cutting movement to rhythm. Music videos are my natural habitat, not a side gig.

One pair of hands from concept to color: a consistent vision and fast decisions, without a producer chain.

Budget matters but does not rule: I know how to make a small-scale video not look small.

FAQ

How much does a music video cost?

The range is wide: a single-location performance video is a different budget than a narrative piece with locations and extras. After hearing the track and talking through the vision, you get a concrete quote with variants.

What does the process look like?

You send the track, we talk about the vision – I come back with a concept and a quote. Then the shoot (usually 1–2 days), an edit with a round of revisions, and a release with a full set of formats.

How long does production take?

From approved concept to master usually 2–4 weeks, depending on scale. Release dates are agreed at the start – and I keep them.

I have no idea for the video – can you help?

Yes, that is a normal part of the job. Most artists come with a track and an emotion, not a script. The concept is my stage.
